Asim Ask:
Sir, I am having some problem regarding my GMAT test
appointment. My test appointment was scheduled on 16 Jan
2006. But due to some reason I was not allowed to test.
The reason was that the name with which I registered
with the GMAT council at mba.com did not match with the
name which is on my passport. But I also provided
secondary Id which contain the same name and detail as I
registered with the council. This was not the problem
with me alone it was also with my brother who also
registered for the test on the same day. Just 15 days
before that I gave TOEFL there I did not any face
problem like this, Another main problem is that I am
trying to report this to the . GMAT council at there
email id provided for Asia Pacific but they are not
replying me back. I am mailing him in hope that I can
get at least some amount refund or a rescheduled date
from them. I am ready to provide all the original
documents but they are not replying. So what shall I do
know, can you please suggest me.
Hope you will. Waiting for your reply in anticipation

Answer:
When scheduling your test appointment, be sure the spelling
of your name and your birthdate exactly match the
name and birthdate printed on the identification you will
present at the test center. If this information does not
match, you will not be permitted to take the test and your
test fee will be forfeited.
