USA Visa: Required Documents


Documents Required in Applying for VISA ( for any country):

Following are some of the basic documents that are required by the student intending to study abroad, while applying for VISA of any Country: -

>> Visa Application Form (varies from country to country & is available at Consulate Office/Embassy of particular country which are located in major cities of India)
>> Visa Application Fees (varies from country to country. These are non-refundable & payment can be made by way of Demand Draft in Indian Rupees drawn in favour of Consulate Office)
>> Passport
>> Confirmed Unconditional Offer Letter/Acceptance Letter/ I-20 from the educational institution (University/College) in the foreign country.
>> Scholarships and awards secured, if any
>> Score Sheets of TOEFL / IELTS / SAT / GRE / GMAT Examinations.
>> Academic Mark Sheets (from 10th Class onwards)
>> Other Academic Papers
>> Financial Documents (for proof of financial solvency of student’s parents/sponsor’s indicating that they can finance the cost of his/her studies in foreign country which includes tuition fees & living expenses during the period of stay in abroad)


Finagle Asks: My both parents are to financially support me in equal amount. The problem is that 'Affidavit of Financial Support' has option for only one sponsor. How am I to submit my 'Affidavit of Financial Support' to university ?
Answer: You need to submit two separate " 'Affidavit of Financial Support'"
